Conducted since 1992, this Indoor Event has been held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre since 2004 during which time it has grown in all respects. The tradition of using International Judges provides a fresh opinion and a very genuine result.

The Entry criteria for this exciting and highly prestigious competition requires a relevant performance from an approved GN Qualifying Show, this performance to be gained within a calendar year.for eligibilty to compete in the Grand National Championships the following year.

This Grand National qualifying event is open to SHC members & NSH registered horses. The Program caters also for different levels of Competition including Newcomers, Preliiminary & Childrens Classes in Hacks and Show Hunters.

The Event held at "Hawkesbury Showgrounds, Clarendon offers the same format as the Grand National however three judges officiate in the GN Qualifying Classes.

An Annual State Title Event & GN Qualifier for SHC members & NSH registered horses who reside in NSW or within 100km radius of its borders.

The Program offers Led-In, Junior Equestrian and Amateurs in addtion to the regular Classes of  Riding, Newcomers, Preliminary & Opens in Hacks and Show Hunters.
